Hera Basra, FCA
Hera qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and has over 20 years experience in general practice. Having spent time with a top 5 accountancy firm Hera set up Basra & Basra in 1996, specialising in owner managed businesses and the medical sector. Hera’s experience lends itself to high level tax planning and providing businesses with the benefit of his extensive knowledge.
Hera’s interest outside work involve cricket, golf, travelling and is a keen motoring enthusiast.
Rajinder Mandair, ACA
Raj studied Accounting and Finance at Southampton University where he graduated with first class honours. He joined Basra & Basra in 2009 as director from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he qualified and worked in the audit, tax and corporate finance departments.
Broadly experienced in finance, he has worked with a number of blue chip companies including IBM and Cobham, in addition to advising a variety of owner managed businesses such as Vitacress, Organix and Palmer Johnson.
Since joining Basra & Basra, Raj has been able to offer his big firm knowledge and experience of providing clients with a first rate service, at a cost effective price, as well as offering clients the personal touch and face to face consultancy.
Outside of work Raj enjoys travel, sports, music and theatre. Additionally, he participates in charity work, having successfully completed the Great South Run for Cancer Research.
